Product Description
This tea cosy features hand stitched bright blue, purple and pink felted mohair and wool flowers.Purple beads dot the hand-stitched top edge of the cosy. The body of the cosy is light green felted wool. The poly-cotton lining is a tiny floral in light green.
Flat, it measures 12” wide x 9 ¼” tall and fits over a typical 6-8 cup teapot.
This work is lovingly created by London, Ontario, Canada artist Sheri Cowan. She draws on her background skills as a graphic designer to create her different animal characters, flowers and other decorative designs. Recycling is very important to Sheri and she tries to re-use and re-cycle in her work as much as possible. This means that you will find items from her vast bead and vintage button collection, as well as boiled and felted wool material from blankets and jackets, as well as other found items in her work.
