Memory Blocks are created by Vancouver B.C. artist Sid Dickens. First a 3-D mould of the design is made, which is filled with plaster and a wood backing. Once the plaster is dry, it is hand painted and decorated. Each block measures 6"x8" and can either hang on the wall or sit on an easel or stand. Many people collect the Memory Blocks over time, creating displays of sometimes a handful of blocks, up to twenty, fifty, or more. There are well over 100 different Memory Blocks to choose from, so deciding which ones you love the most is half the fun.
