Product Description
This whimsical owl-shaped purse is created from recycled and vintage fabrics mixed together to be funky and fun. This purse utilizes olive chenille, gold tapestry and olive plaid. The strap is chocolate brown and the lining is beige. The back of the bag is gold tapestry.
Flat, the body of the purse measures 10” wide x 11 1/2" high. The single strap is 48" long. There is a single button closure at the top of the bag.
This work is lovingly created by Hamilton, Ontario, Canada artist Sil Frebrian. A self-taught seamstress, Sil began making bags in 2009. Recycling is very important to the artist and she tries to re-use and re-cycle in her work as much as possible. This means that you will find unique buttons and closures as well as vintage and recycled fabrics in her work.
